Hi, I’m Valentina

UX/UI Designer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I hold a degree in Product Design and a professional certification in UX/UI Design from the UX Design Institute in Dublin, where I graduated with excellent grades. With a solid knowledge of Figma and Webflow, I specialize in creating high-quality, user-centric design solutions that are perfectly aligned with business goals. My passion lies in creating intuitive and impactful digital experiences that not only meet user needs but also drive success for the projects I work on.

Pharmacist with 10 years of experience working in an Italian pharmacy. During this time, I developed strong communication skills, enabling me to listen closely and understand customers’ needs, even when they were unsure about they really needs or problems. My focus was always on building customer loyalty by helping people find the right solutions and ensuring they left with a smile. Each day brought new challenges, and more experience.

Why this career change? I’ve always been driven by the desire to help people solve their problems and understand their needs—skills that come naturally to me and helped me to be a great pharmacist. However, in pursuing a career in pharmacy, I set aside a long-held passion: art. Moving from Italy to the Netherlands opened the door to a new chapter in my life, allowing me to blend my analytical problem-solving abilities with my creative side. Transitioning to UX/UI Design felt like the perfect way to combine both my natural empathy and my artistic passion, leading to a career where I can craft intuitive and meaningful user experiences.

Positive and enthusiastic person. I am deeply involved in what I do. I am creative, open-minded and empathetic. I love being a pharmacist and at the same time I am curious and always ready to expand my horizon. This is why I embarked on this new path that led me to be a UX/UI designer. I would like to bring my knowledge in the healthcare and my artistic skills to this new job.

I am an artist, I love drawing, painting (with coffee) and creating characters for fantastic stories that I then tell to my girls.
